Character of the day: Pollution, the environmentalist who changed sides.

Before undergoing his hideous mutation, Vincent A. D'Alleva, the Pollution, also called Cesspool, was a philanthropist who promised to change the world by offering large sums of money to solve impossible environmental problems. During a presentation to promote his "Super-Fertilizer" factory, Warrant Officer Flint discovered a Cobra plot to destroy the building, and a battle ensued. When Flint fired his gun, the explosion destroyed the platform where Pollution was standing, causing him to fall into an open vat of fertilizer, causing him irreversible physical damage. Pollution blamed Flint for its downfall.

Months later, Pollution emerged from the shadows, more terrifying than ever, and led a brutal attack on the Eco-Warriors HQ, capturing Flint.
